
Day 1 – Bwindi Forest
Depart from Kampala for a full day (10 hour drive) to Bwindi Impenetrable forest with lunch en route at Lake View Hotel, Mbarara. Continue onto Mantana Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 2 – Bwindi Forest
0800 hrs.- after early breakfast, meet the guide and depart for a full day trek into the forest to search for the Gorillas. The hiking may be long and somewhat strenuous at times and patience is the order of the day, however, the thrill of tracking down these shy but fascinating primates will be just reward (viewing is not guaranteed). Meals and overnight Mantana Luxury Camp.
Day 3 – Kampala
After breakfast return drive to Kampala with lunch en route at Lake View Hotel, Mbarara.

Beautiful and tranquil Semliki Wildlife Reserve is located in the picturesque Bundibugyo district of western Uganda. It lies on the floor of the western Great Rift Valley between Lake Albert and the Ruwenzori Mountain and covers 548 sq km of highly diverse woodland/savannah, deeply cut by rivers edged with tall gallery forests. The five camps in the reserve are among the finest in Africa. The reserve has gained a reputation for its population of unusually large maned lions and its abundance of elephant and buffalo herds.

The Ruwenzori Mountain trekking for 5-8 days to the spectacular Mountains of the Moon range which provide extensive walks and hikes, which is strenuous, but does not require climbing skills. Guides, Meals and porters are provided with accommodation on the mountain in simple wooden huts or camps. Altitude ranges from 2000 to 5100 metres. Best times to visit are December to February and June to August.

White Water Rafting on the River Nile. The Victoria (White Nile) offers world class rafting as it roars into life from its source at Lake Victoria with up to seven times the volume of the Zambezi and thunders between heavily forested islands before leaping wildly into a series of spectacular drops. No previous experience is required as comprehensive instruction is given by the raft Captain and there is a choice between oar rafting (enjoy the ride) or paddle rafting (take part in guiding the boat). One and two day rafting trips may be booked, starting from Kampala.
