This is a luxury safari encompassing Lake Manyara to the sweeping grasslands of the Serengeti and  the great natural phenomenon that is the Ngorongoro Crater, said to be the seventh wonder of the world.

Day 1: LAKE MANYARA
Depart from Arusha for Lake Manyara, which is famous for having more in habitat variation found in a small area than any where else in East Africa. From forest to thick woodlands to the huge alkaline lake on the valley floor. The lake is home to a multitude of flamingo's and other water birds. Overnight at the spectacularly located Manyara Serena Lodge.

Days 2 & 3: SERENGETI
A morning game drive around Lake Manyara National Park,  will invariably reveal elephants and perhaps the elusive tree-climbing lions.  After lunch continue West  to the Serengeti plains with superb views all the way. The next two days will be spent at a lodge with game viewing drives through what is arguably the greatest wildlife reserve on earth. As well as huge herds of wildebeeste and zebra on the plains, the  possibility of sighting lion, cheetah and leopard, as well as herds of elephant becomes a reality during the right season in the year.

Days 4 & 5: OLDUVAI/NGORONGORO
Drive to Ngorongoro with a stop en route to visit the small archaeological museum at Olduvai Gorge. Afternoon at leisure or optional visit to a Masai village. The next morning a full day game viewing in Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch. An unequalled wildlife paradise. Overnight  at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Sopa Lodge overlooking the crater.

Day 6: DEPARTURE
Return to Arusha for lunch and your onward journey.
